For profit or non-profit?

We are registered as a non-profit association with Revenu Quebec (French: OSBL). We primarily use these three registered names: Association québécoise des thérapeutes naturels, Alliance québécoise des thérapeutes naturels and most commonly AQTN.

Our official name when communicating with insurance companies, Soins Personnels and other legal entities is Alliance québécoise des thérapeutes naturels. We are structured in such a way to minimize expenses and pass the savings over to our members.

Note: Typically, if an organization's name includes the word "Alliance" (AQTN is an exception), they are registered as a for-profit corporation. The goal, like most businesses, is the pursuit of monetary gain.
